Poets, Poetry Publishers, and Lovers of Books

The international literary residency Ulysses' Shelter on the Croatian island of Mljet invites you to donate books to the International Library of Poetry, a cultural project co-funded by EU Creative Europe programme, Mljet National Park, and the Municipality of Mljet.

Officially opened on November 23, 2023, by Susan Orlean, author of The Library Book, the International Library of Poetry is a crucial component of our literary exchange project. With hundreds of books in the collection already, we are working to grow the collection with poetry books from all over the world, in the name of connecting a remote island in the Adriatic Sea with poets and readers all over the world.

We welcome donations of poetry books in any language, no matter how small or large.
